Who We Are
Alan James started James Drainage in 1984. He started with one truck, a tractor/back hoe and one labourer.
Over the years he has accumulated more and more trucks, machinery and equipment, whilst incorporating several other small businesses to build James Drainage into the successful, diverse business it is today.
James Drainage doesn’t just do drain laying and septic tank installation.
We added a septic tank cleaning service many years ago and since then have also purchased a bobcat business, traffic management business, a skip bin operation and created a dump facility.
We now also specialise in retaining walls and are always expanding as the need arises.
All equipment, trucks, machinery etc are regularly serviced, maintained and replaced as we try to keep everything modern and up to date.
We have a full time staff of ten and several others as we need them. They are a mixture of drain layers, labourers, truck drivers and digger operators.
Alan’s top man Hunchie has been with him for over twenty years and several others for over ten, they all help to create a reliable, honest and hard working crew with a large skill set and years of experience.
